Important Notice: A small number of users are experiencing a crash when connecting to their computers. If you're affected by this, you may be running an obsolete version of the automatic setup app on your PC or Mac. To fix this please install Jump Desktop Connect (released over a year ago) on the remote PC / Mac. Tap here for more information: https://jumpdesktop.com/updateconnect

That said - here's what's new in this release:

Fluid Remote Desktop

Fluid Remote Desktop is now out of beta and available when connecting to Windows and macOS. Fluid is a new way to connect to your computer. With Fluid you can manage your servers, work all day on documents, watch and edit movies and even play games remotely. Fluid uses modern technology to securely deliver very high performance screen sharing using only a fraction of resources when compared to traditional methods like RDP and VNC. It already supports features like adaptive quality, multiple monitors, automatic clipboard syncing, international keyboards and fast user switching. Very soon we'll add audio streaming to Fluid as well.

Fluid is a free upgrade for all users. It will be enabled by default when setting up a new computer with Jump Desktop Connect. Existing users will need to manually enable Fluid by following the steps outlined here: https://jumpdesktop.com/getfluid

We're also happy to announce the release of a brand new Windows app that lets you remotely connect to a Mac or Windows machine using all the power of Fluid. It's a free download for everyone. Tap here to learn more: https://jumpdesktop.com/free-remote-desktop

#####Physical Mouse This release adds official support for a new physical mouse - one that's more friendly to left handed users. To see the list of supported mice visit: https://jumpdesktop.com/mice

We've also added more configuration options for the excellent Swiftpoint mouse: You can now choose what happens when you tilt the mouse. To configure options click Settings -> Mouse & Gestures -> Physical Mouse -> Swiftpoint.

#####Physical Keyboard

We've added new macros for Mac users: Use Alt+Tab to switch between tasks and Alt+Space to show Spotlight on the remote computer. For the complete list of physical keyboard macros, connect to your computer and hold the Cmd key on the physical keyboard.

To make things easier to type for international we've also added an option to ignore Left Alt key presses. This helps when typing special characters on international hardware keyboard layouts. Settings -> Keyboard -> Ignore Left Alt
